Kiddos' Clubhouse Receives 2011 Best of Alpharetta Award

NEW YORK, NY, February 22, 2011 -- For the third consecutive year, Kiddos' Clubhouse has been selected for the 2011 Best of Alpharetta Award in the Occupational Therapists category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Nationwide, only 1 in 120 (less than 1%) 2011 Award recipients qualified as Three-Time Award Winners. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2011 USCA Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

There continues so be a great deal of need for children in the state of Georgia who are in need of services, but families are unable to afford the proper therapy for them. Since the formation of Kiddos' Clubhouse Foundation in 2009, we have awarded over $60,000 to 28 families in Georgia. There have been many families who did not receive crutical monies and we look to contiue to raise money in an effort to be able to award more scholarships each quarter.

Under the Umbrella

Under the Umbrella’s mission is to become the premier provider of a “drop off” play center (no reservations required) specifically for autistic children in the metro Atlanta area. Come let your kids explore a sensory-rich variety of activities designed to keep them engaged and calm. Our fiber optic light spray and Snoezelen room along with bubble tubes and other tactile equipment will delight and entertain your child while you run errands or just take some time for yourself.
